Associate Project Manager
The Associate Project Manager supports Northern Light Medical Management’s hospital-based radiology service initiatives by coordinating and advancing projects aligned with operational, contractual, and IT objectives. This role promotes disciplined project management practices across multiple hospital and client sites while supporting the organization’s continued growth.
Working in partnership with the Project Manager and developing as a leader within the project management function, the Associate Project Manager facilitates cross-functional collaboration among hospital stakeholders, IT and informatics teams, physicians, external vendors, and internal departments. The role ensures seamless integration of clinical workflows, information systems, and performance and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
• Support and coordinate hospital-based radiology projects across multiple client sites.
• Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestone trackers, and risk logs.
• Track project deliverables and proactively identify potential risks or delays.
• Escalate issues appropriately to the Project Manager and operational leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among:
- Hospital site stakeholders
- IT and informatics teams
- Physicians and clinical leadership
- External vendors
- Internal operational departments
• Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings; prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
• Drive accountability by tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Assist in aligning operational workflows with contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Prepare executive-level project status reports and updates.
• Support the implementation and integration of clinical systems and workflow improvements.
• Reinforce structured project management standards across all initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, healthcare operations, hospital administration, or related environment.
• Experience working in healthcare, radiology, or hospital-based services is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze workflows and identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence engaging with physicians, operational leadership, and executive stakeholders
