Northern Light Radiology Associates is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant to join our growing, hospital-based Medical Management company. We’re looking for the perfect candidate who is dedicated to teamwork and accounting excellence. 

Job Summary:
Northern Light Medical Management is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant to manage our accounts payable processes. This role will be critical in ensuring timely collection of receivables, accurate documentation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable– invoicing and collections
  • Ensure that invoicing coding is accurate.
  • Assist in Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Correspond with counterparties regarding invoices, contracts
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Communicate with internal teams to gather information for billing.

Qualifications:

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree required in accounting.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or related field.
  • Experienced, exposure with GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct,  NetSuite, etc..).
